Blue Dart has recently unveiled a new integrated logistics hub in Bijwasan, Delhi. This initiative is aimed at enhancing both air and ground connectivity across the northern region of India.
Strategic Partnership: The hub is strategically located near the Dwarka Expressway, just a 20-minute drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, providing direct access to key transport networks like the airport, Indian Railways, metro corridors, and major national highways. It integrates with the upcoming Gati Shakti Logistics Corridor, promoting efficient freight movement and multimodal connectivity in alignment with the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
This hub, sprawling over 2.5 lakh square feet, is designed to handle high-volume shipments with advanced cargo handling capabilities. It emphasizes sustainability, with solar power installations boasting a 600-kW capacity, which helps in reducing carbon emissions. This effort is part of Blue Dart's broader commitment to sustainability and low-carbon logistics solutions. The facility is equipped to manage over 5.5 lakh shipments daily, both inbound and outbound, thanks to an automated system that ensures quick and accurate sorting, thereby minimizing manual handling and enhancing operational efficiency.
