What is a Digital India program?
On 20th August 2014, the Digital India program was approved by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Ultimately, we can say that this was a revolutionary step by our honorable prime minister But Mr.Narendra Modi. But as we know there are always two sides to the coin, so this program has some disadvantages.
Flaws of Digital India
- Slow/Delayed infrastructure development.
- Hard to provide services in rural areas.
- Poor people do not have bank accounts.
- Small retailers still deal in cash
- Poor online security.
- People are not educated to use these services.
- Physical activities of people will lapse.
- Some industries like pen and paper get affected badly
- Online documents can be easily hacked
- Too many taxes, surcharges, and fees are charged on digital transactions.
